The Cheston Clubhouse opened in October 2016. We are delighted with the result after a year of building works by RT Construction. In the light airy cafe area, you can now relax in the warmth with a coffee and cookie whilst watching riders in the indoor school. We have a comfy sofa, WiFi, and a large TV. Non-riding children have a colouring-in table to keep them busy under parental supervision. The large deck will be a sun trap from which you can enjoy watching riders both in the indoor arena or adjacent outdoor arena.
The Clubhouse allows us to host our own events and parties as well as hosting other local clubs. The cafe kitchen can do you cold or hot drinks and snacks most any time and we offer light meals on most of our busier days and during events. Give us a call if you want us to do something special for you. We have catered for 30 people with a full 3 course Christmas Dinner and party games in the indoor arena.
Whilst in the Clubhouse, you can have a look at the Cheston Shop. We stock a number of horse brands, Toggi and Champion. Your essentials for horse care and riding including hats, footwear and gloves, CFEC clothing as well as horsey gifts are available in shop or by order.
Our new office has lots of information available for you to browse through so you can find out more about our Centre. We do not staff the Clubhouse full-time but with the Centre usually busy, there is usually someone to assist you. We welcome you to phone us if you want to ensure the cafe or shop is open or to arrange a visit.
The Clubhouse is fully accessible to cope with disabled visitors although we are not a ‘Riding for the Disabled’ Centre.
