Keeping a horse at Cheston will allow you to enjoy everything a horse owner needs to see their horse happy and thriving.

With access to Dartmoor just 5 minutes up a quiet lane, the hacking is exceptional. The turnout is carefully managed and improved, loose boxes have been upgraded and use of the arenas in included in the price as we work towards becoming one of the best livery yards in the region.

Your horse will benefit daily from the expert eye of Sophie and her closely supervised team of BHS qualified grooms. Our yard is quiet and carefully managed - for example, we do not run Saturday Clubs or use young children to help on the yard. Horses are kept in a regular routine with most out over night on summer and stabled during the day and opposite in winter. This can be adjusted according to needs.

To ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all, we restrict livery numbers at Cheston Farm and only offer a full livery service, which includes all daily care. In addition to this, amongst other services, we offer exercise such as horsewalker, schooling and hacking and additional services such as tack cleaning, grooming and clipping.
